WorldCoin (and LiteCoin)

Hello again,

I was wondering if it would be possible to create a PortableApps version of WorldCoin? From what I can tell it's a direct descendant of BitCoin via LiteCoin and at this time at least the "Mining"ability had been left active.

It only took 75 meg to download the whole block chain (total 85,000 approx) so the program is still very new.

I don't know if the three are interchangeable (no doubt some bright spark will work out an exchange method between the three)

At the very least, if it doesn't take off, I've only had a spare box sitting in the corner chewing up some power and bandwidth ;^D

Many thanks,

update

Since writting, I have discovered there are numerous differant digital coins following similar paths of mining etc.

I've tried the WorldCoin program for a few days and although the program runs (and the mining time is under 15 seconds for a block) no blocks seem to have been generated, nore reward for work done all the while data is being uploaded and downloaded with the logfile saying the wallet is being constantly being flushed.

Thanks for taking the time to look anyways.

ONLY RUN THE BAT FILE - worldcoin-qt.exe -datadir=%~dp0

Found this : http://worldcoin.global/blog/guide-to-creating-a-usb-stick-worldcoin-wal... ages ago (link broken and Archive.Org missed trawling it)

Basically, copy all the exe dir and the C:\Users\(name goes here)\AppData\Roaming\WorldCoin into one directory (ie combine the two directories)

and then add a bat file thus:

WorldCon.bat

worldcoin-qt.exe -datadir=%~dp0

Then ONLY RUN THE BAT FILE (clicking on the EXE will cause a new wallet to be created) which can be launched from FreeCommander XE .
