just curious

I'm pretty new to this whole thing, and I think that the PortableApps thing is pretty cool. However, I don't understand the function of an FTP client. Can someone explain what this is and how it is useful on a flash drive? Thanks in advance

Then you probably don't need it. It's for moving files to and from servers.

Live with purpose.

For example, you can upload
