Adding non-.exe files

I have a number of .bat files that I would like to add to the menu but it appears to only allow .exe files. Is there a workaround for this?

Convert them to exe files

just google Batch 2 exe there are a couple freeware converters.

That's definitely a solution but I'd rather be able to add the actual .bat files.

Will this also include thins like java apps, shortcuts and possibly sub folders containing other (grouped) portable apps?
