Adobe PageMaker

sjukcb04 - November 22, 2006 - 11:16pm

I use PageMaker at my internship at school and i have it at home, but its not installed on any of the computer labs at school, so I was wondering if anyone could possibly make a portable pagemaker for me please? I'd appreciate it greatly!

Scribus Portable

For publishing, there is an alternate solution.
Scribus is a desktop publishing tool like Adobe PageMaker. It supports professional publishing features, such as CMYK color, separations, ICC color management and versatile PDF creation. Other features include PDF Import, EPS import/export, Unicode text including right to left scripts such as Arabic and Hebrew. Portable Scribus is a portable wrapper for Scribus that writes settings to the application folder instead of the Windows registry.

that's all fine and dandy,

that's all fine and dandy, except for the fact that it doesn't work with pagemaker documents.....

Sorry

Sorry we don't make non open-source programs into portable apps. It's against the rules

Try

using Libertà Lapwing.

how the heck do you use this

how the heck do you use this thing??

I figured

you'd say that. Smiling

  1. Copy the PageMaker directory into the Lapwing directory.
  2. Open Lapwing and click File » New.
  3. Type into the top box "/PageMaker/PageMaker.exe" for example.
  4. Then type whatever you want to call it into the bottom box.
  5. Finally click on the icon and click Run.
  6. Whenever you want to run it portably open Lapwing and repeat step 5
