Not starting

After updating to LibreOffice Portable 4.2.0, even after restarting my PC, it reads: „Another instance of LibreOffice is already running. Please close other instances of LibreOffice before launching LibreOffice Portable.”
Task Manager shows that no other instance of LibreOffice is already running.

Task Manager

Did you set task manager to show all processes (requires admin)? The processes will show up as either LibreOffice, OpenOffice, OpenOffice.org or just soffice.exe.

That error showing is a PAL message and is only shown if soffice.exe is in the task list reported by Windows.

UPDATE: Download and run this utility and run it to check for running instances.

Thanks!

Actually I found running:

soffice.bin *32 - Eurooffice 2010
soffice.exe *32 - Eurooffice 2010

I stopped them running an now it works OK.

Thank you for your rapid help!

You're Welcome

Ah, I hadn't heard of that one before. It looks like yet another rebranded OpenOffice/LibreOffice trying to get people to buy it. I think LibreOffice will serve you much better.
