Thunderbird Portable on Hard Drivekriemer - November 28, 2006 - 4:12pm
Is there ANY reason not to run T-Bird Portable as the only email program my Hard Drive. The benefit of this is that it would be simple to automate email and settings backup without using the !!$#^$rappy!!! Moz BackUp utility. Alternately, does anyone have a better automated backup procedure to suggest? Thanks k ( categories: )

Well
For manual backups and syncs, you can use Libertà PUSS.
Maybe Steve could add a command line version and then you could use Scheduled Tasks to run it.

So I take it that running Portable T-Bird on my hard disk does not have any disadvantages over T-Bird.
BTW, I have installed P T-Bird in My Documents directory and have included it as part of my regular backup routine.
Thanks for taking the time to respond.
