I've been using the default account in Firefox. How do I copy my various settings for use with Portable Firefox?

Thanks, but since I never created a profile, I don't have an Application Data folder in C:\Documents and Settings\. Sorry, I know that this is very basic ground to cover!

Yes, you do

Firefox AUTOMATICALLY creates a default profile on first run.  That is what you are using. That is what the instructions explain how to copy. If you're using an older version of Windows, the AppData directory is elsewhere... In C:\Windows.  See here
