PortableAppsMenu appears and hides very slowly

When I click on PortableAppsMenu (base version) systray icon it's appears and hides very, very slowly.

My system information:
This is a Laptop
Intel PentiumM 2.2 GHz
512MB RAM
ATI Radeon 7500 64MB
WinXPSP2Pro 1400x1050 96dpi
PortableAppsMenu have installed on 512MB USB Memory

BTW PortableAppsMenu working well on this system:
Desktop PC
Intel PentiumIII 1000
512MB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce2 MX 32MB
W2KSP4 2560x1024 96dpi

Video Driver Issue

That's a video driver problem on the PC. It uses alpha blending to hide and show and on PCs that are using the default video driver or have something set wrong, it's painful. The ability to disable the fade is coming in a later version.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
