How to make XBMC run as portable from Apps Menu

OK...I've got XBMC running totally portable
from a USB stick...I can execute it from a
.bat or .cmd file using the xbmc -p portable switch
and all my adddons/setup have been transferred from
the hidden folder users\userfolder\AppData\Roaming\XBMC...
Everything works great...But I'll be d*mned if I can
get it to run from the PortableApps menu...I tried
converting the .bat file to an .exe file using several
utilities but it comes up with a not recognized internal
or external command when running it (Doesn't do that when running from
a .bat or cmd file)...So haven't figured that one out
but the Apps Menu doesn't pick up a converted .exe file
anyway it seems...The PortableApps menu picks up the XBMC.exe
in the menu listing but I can't run it like that as I need to
run it with the -p switch (xbmc.exe -p)

Anybody figure out how to execute XBMC using the xbmc.exe -p command
from the PortableApps menu?
I have to use the -p switch to make it run portable.
Thanks.
