Sorry if this is in the wrong place but I can't find a forum solely devoted to Chrome Portable.
I have Chrome portable configured to be my default browser [on my Windows 8.1 Dell laptop].
My problem is that clicking on certain links does not work correctly. The places this shows up most notably are: 1) links in Outlook and 2) links on the desktop, but the issue shows itself elsewhere as well.

Can anyone tell me how to solve these annoying issues?

You can't associated Chrome within Chrome Portable as your default browser, it will not work properly. It associates the standard Chrome as your browser inside, not the portable version.
You can use a manual associations editor and associate it with GoogleChromePortable.exe.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

How do I know what entries to search for and/or change to solve my problem?
