Question about a few functionalities

I'm loving portableapps.com so far but there are three functionalities that are giving me some trouble. I was hoping someone in the forum could offer some assistance.

1. Built In Wallpaper Switcher: I love the idea but I can not seem to figure out how to implement the function. I saved the desired image as a 24 bit Bitmap named "portableapps_wallpaper.bmp" and placed it into the pictures folder but nothing happened.

2. The portableapps.com icon is showing in the system tray AND the taskbar. I'd much rather not have the icon in the taskbar. I followed the directions in the support section of the site but I do not have a file called "Data" to edit in the root directory like the support area says I should even though I've turned on "show hidden files and folders."

3. Password: Is there a way to encrypt portableapps.com so that when I run the executable file it asks for a password before launching?

Thanks!

Someone else may have answers about the wallpaper switcher...

but

2. You need to edit the file named PortableAppsMenu.ini in the <Drive Letter>:\PortableApps\PortableApps.com\Data folder.

3. We offer the PortableApps.com Carbide for anyone wanting encryption done properly. If you want software-only encryption then you will have to look at TrueCrypt or one its successors.

Oh oh oh

it's magic, y'know? Disabling that task bar icon made the user experience a hundred times better for me. I had to specifically search for that file name for some reason. Wasn't displaying in the folder. Regardless thanks for the help and also that product looks great. Congrats to you and your team. I'll be saving up for one of those.
