Portable Notepad++ loses settings on hibernation

Hi,

I'm using the Portable Notepad++ and am having some trouble after hibernation if the program was opened. Right after the hibernation on the first use of the opened program, it crashes. When I start it again, I get a message that it needs to clean up some files from the crash and does so and ends. When I start it again, my settings under the menu Settings/Style Configurator is lost, but changes made to Settings/Preferences are still in place.

I have installed the Portable Notepad++ in my host Windows 8.1, and then I use it from guests running in Virtual Box v4.3.12 accessing the installation through the Shared Folders feature in Virtual Box.

Why does it crash and why does it remove my style configurations?

Jonas,

First, try updating your version of VirtualBox (including Guest Additions): You've missed 5 updates since the version you have installed.

If the problems isn't cured by VB updates, then you probably need to provide more information on your system to get a better assessment of the problem, including:

- Which Guest Operating Systems are you using which display the problem?
- How are your Portableapps installed? i.e. Where are your Portableapps installed on your Host System? Do you use the PortableApps menu or do you launch your apps some other way?

My best guess from the information you've given so far is that your Guest system is losing contact with the shared drives when either the Host or Guest goes into hibernation mode and that causes the program crash/loss of settings.
