How do I use java portable?
I have Java portable installed in the common directory.
When I try to launch a portable app and its says I need Java, how do I get it to recognise the portable file please?

Which app are you trying to use?
The app itself must understand how to use jPortable. We don't have any officially released Java apps nor an official way to tie them to jPortable yet other than LibreOffice Portable. If you have an issue with an individual app in testing, ask in that thread. We recently switched to Java 8 from Java 7, since Java 7 is dead in a couple weeks and should no longer be used. Some outdated apps may not have been updated to work properly with the current version of Java.
