Suggestion for a future Linux Computer.

Yeah could someone give me a suggestion for a new desktop computer?

It has to bee less than $ 1,200
It has to have a good Linux distro (I would prefer something like Ubuntu, Kubuntu or Fedora)

And it can't have any integrated Graphics and Sound chips.

Just look for a computer

Just look for a computer with out integrated video or audio cards and put Linux on it.
And if you want a refund for Windows (the EULA allows it, though it may not be a walk in the park):

XP Home EULA:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/home/eula.mspx
XP Pro EULA:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/eula.mspx
On your CD:
\i386\eula.txt

Dunno if it's harder to find the system you like without Windows bundled or getting a refund.

If you want Windows, pay no attention beyond the first sentence.

Sorry I can't help you beyond that. I don't know of any places that sell Linux systems.

Ubuntu is good. If I can get

Ubuntu is good. If I can get it set up to boot from my exHD, I'll be using Fedora Core 6.

Look around to find wht you

Look around to find what you might want and try some of the liveCD's. Knoppix is just out today with a new version 5.1. I'm personally waiting for PCLinuxOS 0.94 which is in active development and will be out 'when it is ready'. I'm currently using 0.93a on several machines and am very happy with it. However, your needs and software philosophy may be different.

Dalco Electronics

One good place I get my parts from is Dalco. You can build what you want or pick up one that they already constructed with or without an operating system. Starting under $400 to around $1300 for a gaming system.

AMD Systems

If you're going for Linux, why spend dollars on Windoze!

Did you know that the entire operating system use to fit on a 5 1/4" floppy disk!

Well

First of all I currently can't afford a comp I am just asking for ideas, and second of all I don't feel like building my own and would rather waste time screaming at a Microsoft Tech support rep, than getting my hands all numb.
