Portable program to find duplicate music files?

Is there a portable program to find duplicate music files? So e.g. among 20 mp3 files find the one of the best quality and remove all of the other ones.

Let's get the basics sorted out first

Seriously, D, sort your system out and a lot of goodness may follow naturally.

Hmmm, well, OK, I am not quite sure about the context, but goodness for me - of course - would make me really happy.

Many thanks.

your own tastes & setup ...

He probably meant get the possible virus or malware think fixed first Smile which hopefully by now your file system problem with ff was fixed. Biggrin

But as to this post, there are many programs that would find the duplicate files, but probably very few which could figure out which was the "best". By what category are you thinking of? File size? Bass subwoofer quality? Clear high ends? File type?

I have a bunch of new dance and routine mixes that I go through regularly and it is just patiently listening to them with different headphones and speakers till I like or delete them. WIndows explorer's sorting and finding is my main program, and the delete button.

Don't be an uberPr∅. They are stinky.

Alright, I understand.

Actually I would think of mp3 files. Flacs, apes, wavs or so do not have any loss of quality, respectively they shouldn't have. There are some programs finding / showing the files in order of the quality, but I have never tried one of them.

Hmmm, that does not sound very comfortable and sounds like an extremely lot of work. And using Win Explorer...
