Portable Codecs?chesspupil - January 30, 2007 - 11:46am
Is there a poratable player that I can import my own Codecs into? I want to play my DivX media on a portable player on a Thumb drive. ( categories: )

VLC
VLC supports DivX built in. Normal codecs themselves aren't portable (they require installation). VLC uses built-in codecs to get around this.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
Mplayer + MPUI
How about MPUI. as long as you have mplayer with it and some codecs then you have a great media player. mpui.sf.net and www.mplayerhq.hu. as long as you download the precompiled version they have then your all set
