Ogg Encoder?learn2laugh (Homepage)

I am trying to find a portable ogg encoder application. If it can encode MP3 that is great, but not necessary. Open Source is a must? Anyone? Jeffrey Wiggs ( categories: )

Audacity Portable
Just grab a copy of Audacity Portable. It has OGG support built in. And it's under 5MB installed.
By default, it's set to a quality setting of 5. You can change this in Edit - Preferences - File Formats - OGG Export Setup.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
Not exactly what I am looking for...
Thanks John, but I guess what I am really looking for is a portable ripping application to convert my CDs to Ogg. I have 2500 CDs and am usually far away from a CD player and always very close to computers. I don't like carrying discs around and my portable drive is quite large.
Anyone know of any good rippers?

You can use winLAME Portable Edition. Infact, just last night I decided to convert all of my mp3's to ogg, and I used winLAME.

WinLAME PE keeps giving me
WinLAME PE keeps giving me problems. I tried it first, but the launcher keeps running up a "timer?" on the screen, and then crashes with Microsoft asking to send a bug report. And when I open WinLAME without the PE launcher, it does not recognize my CDs as valid format, though they are standard CDs and VLC player plays them fine.

Now that you mentioned it
I've only used it at home, and I thought it was my computer screwing up (it's known to do that). Then I decided to run winLAME located inside app\winLAME\ (aka: not portable version), and it ran fine.
