I did search, and many pages and a lot of reading about team speak and skype and all that. What is the suggested app or program like old Roger Wilco or Team speak or even the Instant messaging programs I can use for multiple people a small amount 4 to 10, to voice chat while playing video games like Quake 3 arena, COD and such, that are light on resources, don't mess with frame rates, decent quality, easy to use for the people I am going to setup/introduce. Most of us have OLD crummy computers. P.S I have an OLD post about this, wasn't sure to add to it or do this...
Discord is a web-based voice chat designed for gamers. No install is needed. If you already have any portable web browser installed that supports HTML5, then Discord is for you. Additionally, they also offer a desktop client. Google "Discordapp". Also, discord has unlimited slots, offers ip/ddos protection, and is free to use. Probably best of all, you don't have to run a server, they do it for you.
Have an awesome day!

Discord is available as portable version here if you are interested : [link to illegal software site removed by mod JTH]
I'm not sure why but it looks like that launcher creates and removes symlinks which will require admin rights on most systems.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
Thanks John. Man the work you have to do. How many eyes and hands do you have?
its not necessarily portable apps styled but it runs and works (its a poc dont expect much)

Just wondering if there might be something new or maybe someone has more input these days. something simple basic like the old Roger Wilco, I have not used anything since way back. So I don't know how any of these work, Quality, Resources, Protection etc.
