Apps Master List

Is there a master list of apps that can be added to Portable Apps?

I noticed some other apps on this site are listed as available for Portable Apps, but they're not available from within Portable Apps, such as GFIE..

So is there a list somewhere of all the apps available?

And are all Portable Apps apps work without admin privileges, as a standard feature?

GFIE is in the App Store

Greenfish Icon Editor is in the app store along with all apps within the App Directory (when you click Apps on the website). It won't appear in the platform's app store if you already have it installed. If you don't see it in your installed apps, you may have hidden it. Right click and select Show Hidden Apps.

Apps that require admin rights to run when installed locally require admin rights to run when used portably by their nature. This includes apps that need direct disk access (disk defragmenters, error checkers), direct access to the HKLM section of the registry (registry cleaners and tweakers), direct access to the network stack (firewalls, etc), and other apps of that nature. Basically, if the locally installed app asks for admin rights when you run it, its portable version will, too. The only exception is VeraCrypt specifically due to its nature as it needs a running driver.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
