T@b ZS4 (zweistein) video editor projectTRexian - March 6, 2007 - 10:55am
Ok, I think we've all recognized the lack of a portable video editor. In looking around, it looks like t@b ZS4 (the zweistein executable) has a friendly license and good support. In posting at the forum, I received the following information: I understand that last might be a deal-killer? The dev suggests something like: "tabdec.dll is a "COM" component, and as such implements the entry points DllRegisterServer() and DllUnregisterServer(). The microsoft executable called regsvr32.exe can be used to register the COM component. Several Installer utilites (Inno for example) have options to simply script a DLL as RegisterServer() style COM object." Thread here: Any advice? ( categories: )

Is it possible
to have it not register the DLL, but to just put it in it's working directory (i.e. the directory it's in)?

Alas, that's where it starts out. I'll post in the other forum with that as a suggestion. I think the other guy there is a dev of some sort.
