I found this a great program in the Essential PIM Free (Personal Information Manager).
It is simular to Sunbird in look and feel but the PIM adds some extras that I like. I use it now in conjuction in a folder on my USB but would like to see it developed intergarted with the Apps program.

since Essential PIM is closed source, you can;t redistribute it with the Suite, I think
