You have to have the latest beta version of the PortableAppsMenu.

Well
The PortableAppsMenu is an open-source replacement of the U3 Launchpad.
You can use it side-by-side with U3 but most people here removed their U3 stuff and replaced it with the PortableAppsMenu.
The PortableApps Menu is a part of the PortableApps Suite you can download by clicking on the "suite" link at the upper left corner.

i really only use it because, at the moment, it has more stuff, once the portable apps.com stuff catches up, i am portableapps.com all the way!

i dont think you can change your u3 menu, unless u3 has started dealing out themes.
