Question: Security of conversations is important in IM's. Is GAIM conversations recordable by computers or networks who have IM tracking software installed, i.e. IMAge, Imation? Thanks. »

Yes and No
It uses the standard protocols for AOL, Yahoo and MSN, so if tracking is done on the network, then yes.
You can, however, use OffTheRecord (built-in) or Gaim Encryption (installable plugin) to encrypt your conversations with other Gaim users. It would still be trackable, but it wouldn't be readable to a 3rd party.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
