A Launcher

is just a neat little proggy that takes care of registry entries and/or files left behind by the main program and backs up / restores the local settings if there ars some.

Well, I was asking becuase I'm working on the launcher for Portable Apps for Linux. So, with linux, there is no registry, so it would be easier...
