GIMP Portable 2.2.15 Pre-Release

I've posted a pre-release of GIMP Portable 2.2.15. I'm doing a pre-release as it's now using a PortableApps.com Installer and combines the EN-US and multilingual packages into one installer. It will install over an existing English or Multilingual install. If you install over a Multilingual without the translations, it'll even clean up the installed ones... saving you space.

It's an 11.6MB download and will be 18 to 36MB installed depending on whether you include the translations. Please give it a try and post any feedback.

Download GIMP Portable 2.2.15 Pre-Release
(may take a few minutes to hit the download servers)

Coool

Love it.
Nothing left behind.
Its a pity you are doing so much with macros and don't include them; otherwise I could check them out and learn some more NSIS...

Huh?

All source besides the standard stuff is included.

Sorry

My mistake. I am just having problems recompiling it because some MUI stuff is missing.

I just gave this a go, and now my paintbrush cursor is a huge black box. Everything else seems fine, but this does make it impossible to paint with :T

Something quirky, is that the spacebar now functions like it does in photoshop, it brings up Gimps version of the Hand tool so that I can move my image around without actually moving the layer itself as it does by default. Now I've pulled my hair out trying to learn how to change the non-beta-Gimp to act like this too but no such luck... Blast that paintbrush cursor.

WFM.

I can see my paintbrush, and the spacebar brings up the rectangular select tool for me.

I just reinstalled, and the paintbrush is working correctly again.

Interestingly, I lost the spacebar functionality I had, and preferred. By default Gimp uses the 3rd mouse button to pan your live window without moving the layer. In photoshop this is achieved by pressing and holding the spacebar while dragging. My first install of the beta gimp enabled this photoshop-like functionality of the spacebar. New newest reinstall however has reverted it back to the Gimp defaults.

bummer

But, paintbrush works again Smile Having a go with some photoshop plugs to see if they hold up any better in this version now.

The development version has this feature bound to the spacebar so it
will be in 2.4. In GIMP 2.2 you can do the same using your middle mouse
button.

So this IS going to be a feature of Gimp, but what befuddles me is this shortcut is hardcoded and my previous install somehow had that feature, but now it doesnt after reinstalling... :boggle:

Looks good.

No problems with the installer here. Everything else looks good--same functionality and all my additional plug-ins and scripts remained clean and untouched.
