Error message when i try to install the program onto my USB flash driveSubmitted by klive2007 on July 7, 2007 - 1:40pm
whenever i try to install either the full portable apps suite or the lite version, the installation wizard gets to about 25% then an error message appear and says "the request could not be performed because of an 1/0 device error." i have tried installing them on both of my flash drives with no luck, but it will install onto my computer! i cant see any reason it will not work but it could be a fault at my end! any help would be appreciated! PC Issue
That's a PC issue. Most likely, you have a flaky USB port that borks after copying a certain amount of data. Install it to the PC and then try copying it to the drive. If that fails, too, do it from a PC that doesn't have this issue.
