intype editor

Just spreading the word about intype (http://www.intype.info), a great text editor like Textmate. Runs great with PortableApps, just install to the portableapps directory.

Trialware

It's 25 to 45 bucks when it's released. Notepad++ is free and already stable (and portable).

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Intype is not Notepad++

Editors like intype and e-texteditor are nothing like notepad++... IMHO they are way better (like a Textmate for windowz).

Notepad++ will probably one day have the features they have (e.g. multiline editing), but for now it does not. I'm optimistic about the future of Notepad++ though because it's open-source and enables the ability to add plugins. I will not be suprised if it turns into the "firefox" of text editors Smiling

I do agree that neither intype or e-texteditor have a place in PortableApps because they are not FREE.
