Xenon is a file manager with locally stored file extensions. This is a complete rewrite of Xenon in AutoIt (the second rewrite actually). It should work on most computers now. The assoc.ini file has the icons and file associations. There are no default portable applications set to open files but there are lines commented out that enable most files to be launched. Edit: Pre-Release 3 adds many features including copy+paste, a context menu, and plugin system. To install a plugin just run an executable in /App/xenon/plugins/. License: MIT Comment away. Personally, I liked the icon
Personally, I liked the icon sizes better on the older version. Though, if I'm correct, you changed the menus a little, didn't you? Anyway, I'd work on the copy-and-pasting before working on the visual effects if it were me.

i can't seem to be able to recompile this program. i always get and error saying that i'm missing A3LImageList.au3 and ModernMenu_A3L.au3. i'm not very experienced with AutoIT so i hav no idea where to get these file nor do i noe how to creat them. haha can u help me out here :)nice program btw

ModernMenu_A3L.au3 is a modifed version of ModernMenu.au3 that works with Auto3Lib for making the menu have icons. I am going to remove them both in the next release though. I uploaded ModernMenu_A3L.au3 for you.

can u make is so that xenon doesn't see those crazi system files? lolz i'm seeing all these weird files and folders when i'm using xenon. files like ehthumbs_vista.db and $drvmig$ @.@ i dun wan't to accidenly delete them haha. i'm even seeing folders like Documents and Settings and i'm using windows vista. also the list should sort in aphabet order

Looking Great
Only things I would like to see is a "Refresh" option. Since when you use the Show Hidden Files option you have to switch dirs for it to kick in.
Another handy feature would be an "Open With" right-click.
Other than that great work. :)
