RSS not working properly

I got latest Portable Thunderbird(PT) and I found strange things with RSS ....
Everytime I run PT for the first time since PC run, it checks mails fine .... but only mail, PT finds no new RSS things ... NONE, even if I try manualy downloading there, etc ...
but if I close PT (checked, process closed) .. and run it again, it downloads RSS properly ...

Never seen that before. I don't use TB (portable or standard) for RSS. I'll check it out if I get a chance later. In the meantime, download a virgin copy and just add a couple RSS feeds. See if you get the same result. If you do, maybe there's something we need to fix under the hood for better portable use.

ok, I investigated the problem with my PT and pure PT ...
in both versions RSS updates at first run (dunno at my PT not always but pure PT seems to work fine) ... anyway what's the main problem that they do not update at startup themselves (but the option to check at startup is marked)
