From the Support page: Settings not in Data directory - Currently, FileZilla stores its settings in FileZilla.xml in the filezilla directory as opposed to the settings directory. Old FAQ
Actually, that's an old version of the FAQ. The launcher moves it back and forth at the moment. I wasn't aware of the command line switch, so I'll add that into the next release. Thanks.
