How to install an app into Portable Apps Menu manually?

rjobs - October 31, 2007 - 10:51pm

Dear all,

I have installed some application and made some configurations to them separately.

Then I decide to integrate them all into portable apps menu, so it will be more easy to me to access them.

Does anybody know how to integrate them into portable apps menu manually? I don't want to install a new one, but I want to use my already installed apps, because I don't want to lose the add-ons I have already installed and I don't want to do setting to these application again.

Thanks for your help,

Regards,
Ronny

try using the PAM mod, or

try using the PAM mod, or get the geek.menu, or PStart.
if I am understanding your question, it is the same program with different config, or different program all together?

Please search before posting. ~Thanks

Thank you for your help.
I've been trying to search the answer for my question previously, but I didn't find it.

Just Move Them

Take your existing app directory... say it's:

X:\MyApp\

And move it to:

X:\PortableApps\MyApp\

The PortableApps.com Menu will automatically pick it up.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
