OpenOffice Portable

This is not strictly a portable versions query, but rather I think it must be something core to these respective programs.

I currently have it installed on the D drive, but the option to pin is grayed out in the PortableApps.com launcher.

Hello, can following be solved?

I have 2 users logged in simultaneously on my PC - me and another user (with a different install location of PortableApps) - and I can not launch OpenOfficeWriterPortable.exe, while LibreOfficePortable.exe is running on another user. I can launch D:\Apps\PortableApps\OpenOfficePortable\App\openoffice\program\swriter.exe (or soffice.exe) without issues though - so it's only about the Portable.exe launcher. Do I need to un-lock is somewhere? Thanks.

Trying to get OOBase to work on an older tablet with 32-bit Windows 8.1,
Installed JRE 1.8.0.301,
went to set up the runtime environment path
selected Programs > Java > jre 1.8.0_301
Dialog box informs me: The folder you selected does not contain a Java runtime environment. Please select a different folder.

How to proceed?

My Apache Open Office Portable 4.1.8 is suggesting me to update to 4.1.9, by manual download from the Website.
¿Should I accept, or I must wait until the new version is available in Portable apps?

Hi Sirs,

If anyone needs legal advice from one of you guys, can anyone help? I am really amazed and believe that open source is a much humane way of doing business but it seems that I am plagued by unknown people everytime I am trying to use Portableapps.

I am ready to let any of you to let in to all my private logs in all my devices and see if something illegal and against our legal right to do open source and promote the same. Maybe it's time that we can promote this right as a community?

After upgrading my OpenOffice Suite on the server to the latest version of 01-07-2019, I'm getting the following error on run:
"A general a error occurred while accessing your central configuration".

I tried removing & reinstalling the Suite, but I'm still getting the same error. Installing it onto a different/local drive will get me a working Suite.

Greatly appreciated. I'm sure some others will be too.

I'm usually pretty patient and know how to just wait -- I do appreciate that packers are busy with other things and so on. But 4.1.6 was released by Apache in November 2018 and still no release from Portable Apps. Please can someone pack it and release it. I suppose I think that given that Apache don't do many new releases of OO then just a bit of effort now and that will be that for several months.
