Other Apps Support

In keeping with portability, and my "Everest" of having every tool leaving no 'footprint' in windows, I use the following for portable console development.

For this example, let's assume your 'portable' drive is "P:\" - (I actually use a 2nd sata drive for my portable apps as not to fill up my SSD Win7 Ultimate OS drive)

Process:

1. Download files
2. Create Directory Structure
3. Install Command Prompt Portable
4. Copy UnxUtils.zip\usr\local\wbin\*.exe to bin folder
5. Copy msls231.exe\*.exe to bin folder (overwriting 3 files)

Has anyone else got this problem?

Some of the links on ebay.co.uk do not respond in Opera Portable.

When looking at an item for sale, I can 'see other items' but not 'add to watch list', I can't enlarge the photos or look at 'Postage and Payment', but I can place a bid. When searching some filters respond but not others.

When I hover over a link, the address appears in the lower left hand bar, except those that don't work when it says ' javascript:;'

This is not an issue with standard Opera on my Windows laptop, nor with Firefox Portable.

Having just downloaded Google Chrome Portable and "installed" it in my Windows XP x64 SP2 system, I noticed that it does not run.

As soon as I launch it I can see that the GoogleChromePortable.exe process shows up in Task Manager, stays there for a few seconds and then disappears, while nothing else happens.

Is it impossible to run the program in XP x64 (why?) or am I missing something?

Still recognised a bug in KVIrc. It's really quite stable but when i look for the log files via the menu bar > Tools > Browse Log Files and going a bit through, it crushed in a moment. But it opened and i can browse the logs a while.....

Hint: The log files are very big, it's from a whole day 24/7 chatted record!

I am trying to set up SMPlayer to watch TV, and I would have to create a file called ~/.mplayer/channels.conf.

As SMPlayerPortableApps doesn't read that directory, where would I have to put that conf file? Additional information, I am on Windows.

I'm having a little "problem": whenever I use XMPlayPortable, it's located at the right top corner of my screen, but whenever I change to another pc with different screen dimensions, my player isn't at the right place. (too far to the right, left, ..)

In fact this can be fixed: I get the screenheight ant screenwidth using Custom.nsh:

I installed this release on two different computers, both equipped with either XP or Seven, and I noticed that in all cases sounds are slightly delayed compared with the video, not only during any game session but also when surfing through the menus.

I am trying to install PortableApps on my phone using the Droid Portable Apps Downloader. On the play store site the instructions are not clear to me on how to install and use the software.

I ended up putting PortableApps.com_Platform_Setup_1.6.1.exe on my SD card in my computer and installing it there. The problem is when I put it in my phone it won't open.

I know I must be doing this wrong... Can I get some more specific instructions?
