The off topic forum is for postings that are probably of interest to the community, but not directly related to portable apps. As suggested, topics like CMS suggestions, Windows themes and things like that can be posted here. It's not a free for all for posting anything and everything. Note: Posts in the Off Topic Forum will not appear in the Recent Posts tracker. ( categories: )

Looking for Audio Disc Burner with split track functionalitywolfkin - February 7, 2012 - 2:53pm
I use Audacity to record sermons. Which are then trimmed to MP3 and then burned for sale. What I would like to be able to do is burn the disc (or more properly an image) with multiple tracks. I know with Nero I used to be able to see the audio waveform of the disc and then split it where I liked. I'd like to be able to split the CDs into Intro, 3 Parts, and an Outro is there a way to do that outside of manually taking the long MP3 and splitting it into five separate mp3s and then burning on something that can do gapless? I would be interested in portable and non portable programs. ( categories: )
Poll for a programming language.dark_yux - January 25, 2012 - 6:58pm
Ok, I'm working on a programming language. Do think it appropriate to use an init method instead of a constructor? I like the first one but I'm scared people won't like it. What do you think? ( categories: )

OK I'm designing my own programming language and I'm adding a conditional assignment feature. Which design do you prefer?

Is It Possible?![]() Amarus - December 16, 2011 - 2:58pm
I'm a years old PA.com community member, frequent lurker & "social" contributor. I really don't know where to ask this, but in hopes that I at least get directed in the right course, here it goes... Is it possible to change my UserID "Amarus" for another one? I know this is not possible via the user interface. I'm wondering if those behind the scenes would grant such request? ( categories: )

while we are (patiently) waiting for the next PAM suite to introduce customizable theming; i decided to post a few ideas for some. if you love the AlienWare interface (like me) then i sugggest these. they are still very much in the process of being finished but i decided to throw them out and see what feedback i get. iam open to suggestions and will give a copy to work with also if interested. note: all images are created in the Paint.Net format http://img593.imageshack.us/img593/2213/classicwhite.png ( categories: )
A Question about my keyboard and is it just me.![]() Skitter302 - December 11, 2011 - 5:39pm
I built my Windows 7 Computer back in June this year and have had only one problem, certain keys will act like switches during gaming. For example if I tap the space-bar it will act as if I'm holding it down. I then have to tap it twice to get it to return to a unpressed state. The same thing happens with the Backspace and Enter keys. However the arrow keys are just like switches, I tap it on and have to tap it off. I'm wondering if any one else has had this problem or similar. Is it related to Windows and/or the Motherboard? ( categories: )
