ClamWin Portable

I had a detection while running the virus database update that occurred near the end of the process. After uploading to and scanning with both http://www.virustotal.com/ and http://virusscan.jotti.org/en I believe it to be a false positive. The following are the links to the results

I had no viruses.
Than I downloaded the new portable tor bundle and scanned my thumbdrive with clamwin afterwards.

It showed:

I checked the files with virustotal, only two are showing result for first file:

There is a worm (conficker)that keeps infecting a desktop I plug my USB drive into. I see portable apps has ClamWin and Spybot. What would be the best solution for me to keep my usb drive clean? I'm not trying to clean up the desktop--that has been done in the past and someone keeps re-infecting it. I just wanna shield my own usb drive. I'm tired of plugging it back into my laptop and getting that message again.

Hope ClamWin Portable(only a scanner) will upgrade ClamWin Free Antivirus Portable!

Using ClamWin Portable

To start up ClamWin Portable, just double-click PortableClamWin.exe file where you installed Portable ClamWin on your portable drive. Then, use it just like you would a local copy of ClamWin.

Good Morning Group;

The last two versions of ClamWin portable seem to pick up a virus in itself when scanning.

I do not get this when I make a portable ClamWin from the instructions on ClamWin's site. I wonder if this is not do to something that is done like compression when the portable version is made.

I should have written the message down. It is the only thing ClamWin picks up as haveing a virus on my PC's.

ClamWin Portable... I just checked this program out. I have the lastest updates.

Known viruses: 963005
Engine version: 0.96
Scanned directories: 27112
Scanned files: 132643
Infected files: 29

(I run AVG as my normal AV program)
and have not had a problem with the 2 Computers I have here. The Other computer has the same problem.

I check the first 5 files at..

They show up as Clean.

Is this Normal for ClamWin as in it's Not ready for prime time yet, or Can anyone think of any other problem why I get this?

Do fireclam; an addon for firefox that makes ff scan downloads w/ clam, work w/ clamwin portable using the addon w/ firefox portable? Or if n0t, could there be anyway to configure things to make it work?

Can clam sentinel be portablized?
