New In This Release

This release updates the bundled Mozilla Firefox to 2.0.0.5, fixing some known security issues. It also features a new launcher that correctly handles an additional registry key that Firefox will create when run for the first time. The installer has also been improved to better calculate available space on your portable device.

PortableApps.com Installer / PortableApps.com Format

Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition is packaged in a PortableApps.com Installer so it will automatically detect an existing PortableApps.com installation when your drive is plugged in. And it's in PortableApps.com Format, so it automatically works with the PortableApps.com Suite including the Menu and Backup Utility.

John,

I used the copy Profile [Data] folder over the new fresh install method, after install, and it worked great!

Such a quick release too, thanks as always Smile

Blazing fast, John. It's much appreciated.

I thought you were doing translations of the installer?

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

... Simeon told me that on systems without utf fonts the installer was blank.
Thats why the last versions of the translated installer had the en strings too,

You`ll get the German strings on a German System and the en strings on other systems.

If You have another solution I'll be happy to use it with the next installers.

By the way ... all Apps will be ready in German packaes too next week.
The German App pages are ready too.

Regards
Marko
