Features

ClamWin Portable ScreenshotClamWin is a Free Antivirus for Microsoft Windows 98/Me/2000/XP/2003. It provides a graphical user interface to the Clam AntiVirus engine. It features:

  • High detection rates for viruses and spyware
  • Regular virus database updates. ClamAV team regularly updates virus databases to include a new virus/variant immediately after it appears
  • Standalone Virus Scanner

New in This Release

ClamWin has been updated to 0.91.1 with improvements to scanning packed executables (like portable apps) and archives. The launcher has been improved to keep your settings intact while upgrades are made to the app. (If you're using a custom ClamWinPortable.ini file, the format has changed and it will need to be updated.) The installer has also been improved.

PortableApps.com Installer / PortableApps.com Format

ClamWin Portable is packaged in a PortableApps.com Installer so it will automatically detect an existing PortableApps.com installation when your drive is plugged in. And it's in PortableApps.com Format, so it automatically works with the PortableApps.com Suite including the Menu and Backup Utility.

Thanks John,

Have been waiting for this one for a while.
The last version was just too slow [CW itself, not CWP per sey].

The non-pa version just came out yesterday,
You are fast, you are the Man

Will Download now and try it out.
Thanks again

Things have got to get better, they can't get worse, or can they?

It may take a couple minutes to hit the download servers, so be patient.

John, it seems to be taking an unusually long time to hit SF. When I try to download off of SF, it loads as a blank white page. Any idea on what's up?

All of SF is having issues accepting links from outside websites.

PS - I never mention the mirror thing on here as I give it plenty of time to propagate and test it first. If warranted, I'll be adding in the "post in the forums" comments when posting stories. For now, they're not.

Yeah, I noticed SF was having errors. I checked the other download links.

And I'll keep the mirrors in mind.

Simple enough to go to SF itself and search for "portableapps". Click a couple links and get the directory for all your submissions. I did notice the auto-download from SF itself didn't work but clicking on the "this direct link" did.

Thanks for the fast update John. Smile

... direct link works fine.
eg: [LINK REMOVED] cause SF fixed the issue.

I'll remove this links when sf download works propper again.
