Congratulations on your first app Travis. And thanks for taking the reigns on this one Smile

YAY!

A reaction to the beta post... (Topic was locked!?)

"i have confirmed by reading online that any users with only Windows Media Player 6.4 seem to get a missing wmidx.dll error message even though it still runs. Is it legal to include the dll in my package? also it seems that error existed with the 0.43 release also so i want to know if john did anything to fix the message in his previous version. it also has the dependencies of MSVCR71.DLL and MSVCP71.DLL, are these included in all windows versions?"

Don't forget some people might not have the latest Microsoft dependencies installed for several reasons. For example they never used Windows Media Player because they use VLC and maybe don't have the MSVC 71 DLL's (?).

Will all basic Windows since 2000 include these dependencies on their own?

Thanks, Travis. I've been waiting for this one to become official for a while now. Thanks for making it happen.

I was excited to see this because the portable version of this I had made still made a directory on the PC. I was wondering how this "portable" version would handle it. Apparently it doesn't.

It creates the following directory on the PC upon startup.

C:\Documents and Settings\travis\LOCALS~1\Temp

(or for Vista)

C:\Users\travis\LOCALS~1\Temp

Now I'm concerned what else is left on PC's from these so called Portable Apps Sad

Created on start....deleted on exit correct?

These apps WILL create something on launch in most cases, but they WILL also remove it when the app is closed.

no, he's right, i just confirmed it. i have no idea how that was left in the default data since i remember deleting it out of there. **frantically fixing this

I saw the profile on my computer a while ago, and I was trying to figure out which application it was from. I think InfraRecorder was the only one I didn't double check on as I forgot it was yours now.

Sorry.

I've been using Astonosoft DeepBurner (which they claim is completely portable) while waiting for something like this App. I'm constantly burning ISO files to disc, so I'm definitely going to give this one a try.
Thanks Travis!
