On-Screen Keyboard Portable 1.2 has been released. It allows you to have easy access to Windows' on-screen keyboard from your PortableApps.com Menu and take all your settings with you. This new release adds Windows 7 support and an improved multilingual installer. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format for easy use from any portable device and integration with the PortableApps.com Suite. And it's open source and completely free.

Features
On-Screen Keyboard Portable makes it easy to access Windows' built-in On-Screen Keyboard on any system you come across. It remembers your settings for sound, hover to select or click to select, always on top, keyboard layout and more as you move from PC to PC. And the icon sits right in your PortableApps.com Menu for easy access. For earlier operating systems that lack a built-in on-screen keyboard (Windows 95/98/Me) it even includes a simple virtual keyboard that, while lighter on accessibility features, is still useful.
Keylogger Note: While on-screen keyboards offer protection against hardware keyloggers, they do not offer protection against software keyloggers (which are far more common). They are primarily intended as an accessibility tool or for alternate means of text entry (pen-based computing, etc).
New In This Release
This release adds Windows 7 support and a new multilingual installer.
PortableApps.com Installer / PortableApps.com Format
On-Screen Keyboard Portable is packaged in a PortableApps.com Installer so it will automatically detect an existing PortableApps.com installation when your drive is plugged in. And it's in PortableApps.com Format, so it automatically works with the PortableApps.com Suite including the Menu and Backup Utility.

Serendipity - On Screen Keyboard "Popped up"
-- You had good timing for this one. I just had an issue with trying to use an unfamiliar foreign language keyboard. This could have been usefull in searching out the characters I should have wanted to use in typing text.
-- I've "captured" this on into my P-Apps suite now for future "accessibility"
