FreeCommander Portable 2009.02b has been released. FreeCommander is an easy-to-use alternative to the standard windows file manager with lots of advanced and helpful features. It's packaged as a portable app so you can bring it anywhere. This new release fixes some bugs in FreeCommander. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Suite. It's released as freeware for personal and business use and packaged and distributed by the publisher of FreeCommander.

FreeCommander Portable is packaged in a PortableApps.com Installer so it will automatically detect an existing PortableApps.com installation when your drive is plugged in. It supports upgrades by installing right over an existing copy, preserving all settings. And it's in PortableApps.com Format, so it automatically works with the PortableApps.com Suite including the Menu and Backup Utility.
