TeamViewer Portable 6.0.10124 has been released. TeamViewer is a remote PC support/control and screen-sharing tool. You can remote control a partner's desktop to give online assistance, or you can show your screen to a customer without worrying about firewalls, IP addresses and NAT. It's packaged as a portable app so you can work on the go and it's in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Suite. It's released as freeware for personal use (business/office use requires a license).

TeamViewer NOT FREE for non-profit/education use
Installed this software in a school so that special education teachers can access the student's screens (online public school).. after a short while of use, they are getting a "commercial use notification" and promted to go to teamviewer's request a quote page. Contacted the manufacturer and was told "TeamViewer is free for the private use but not for a non-profit use." and that you cannot use "TeamViewer in any office environments.", "it is considered commercial use."

The definition of commercial use is pretty specific.
However, it's possible that a non-profit org, that is comprised entirely of volunteers, so that no member or staff is paid at all, can apply for a special license. This is entirely up to the discretion of the Teamviewer people.
The point they are making is that this in an organization where people are paid, use of this software could be considered a form of payment or adding of value.
For your school, yeah, you'll have to pay for TeamViewer.
We did have a fully open source alternative here for a while called TightVNC, but it hasn't been kept up. There was a similar attempt at UltraVNC. Either of those allows use by anyone.
Not PA format?!
How is this in PA format when it is not .paf.exe? How does one integrate this in the PA menu?

If one clicks the download link on the TeamViewer Portable homepage they download a
TeamViewerPortable_[VersionNumber].paf.exefile, however if one clicks the "TeamViewer Portable" Download link on the TeamViewer Download page they download aTeamViewerPortable.zip.The

If you didn't know, TeamViewerPortable is packaged directly by TeamViewer, so the portable.zip and the .paf.exe should have about the same level of portability. And Chris's answer was concise enough.
Misunderstanding?
As blkro posed a question about a zip it seems not to refer to the download link on PortableApps.com.
The portable version on the Teamviewer HP obviously is not in PA format. It may be portable in aspects of not leaving anything behind but otherwise may not offer some other benefits of the PA format (like platform integration). That is mostly what 3D1T0R pointed out (with proper links).
That the official paf is packaged by TeamViewer and the download location points to their server is a mistake in his post but does not change much of its basic statement...

read my post again. I didn't counter the statement about the installer, the point on PAF compliance, nor the point on PAP integration. All those are valid points.
I did, however, counter his doubt on portable.zip's portability versus .paf.exe's portability, and his claim on who maintains it. If they make both versions, why make FUD with doubting ones portability over the other. They check the portability of both packages in much the same way, and that was the sole point why I made my post (to prevent any unintended FUD).

As for blkro asking about the zip, if he got it from teamviewer.com he should be asking there. Posting on a .paf.exe page how it's not .paf.exe should result in a simple answer as "Huh? Yes it is".

I generally do it manually, typing my <a href=""> tags and such when linking to the PortableApps.com Platform I write
<a href="/suite">PortableApps.com Platform</a>(using relative pathshref="/Something"means "https://portableapps.com/Something")When I remember to install it, I like to use Xinha Here!, or if you're using Windows (which I do, but I'm not right now) you could use Listary's Text Editing feature to write them with any editor you want (e.g. NotePad++, AkelPad, Notepad2, Notepad2-mod, Geany, gVim, even NVU/KompoZer).
As far as footnotes, I do that entirely manually, using
<a id="fn-1" href="#fn1">*</a>and<a id="fn1" href="#fn-1">*</a>for the links from the paragraph to the footnote and back respectively (obviously incrementing the number to have a unique id for each one on the page {I have to go back and increment them afterward with the Edit function when I forget that I (or someone else) already had one in an earlier comment}).Thanks for Xinha Here
Looks neat, though it lacks spell-checking (on my box), and has some visual bugs... I'll play with it for a while to get a clear picture. As for the footnotes, I learned how to make them some time ago (thank you Firefox's Ctrl+U).
Ctrl+U and Stylish (addon) have thought me some simple, yet useful things...
Consider this a bit of constructive (and friendly) criticism. You "overlink" and "overthink" (rhyme intended
). Any officially released portable app can be referenced by just it's name, no need for all the linkies. And naming fewer options is enough to get someone started. Looks neater that way.
Suggestion: if some user doesn't care enough to provide more info than "it's broken" or "it doesn't work", don't waste your time trying to figure out what might be his issue. Respect your own free time.

I, too, had no intent to counter your statement, but as blkros post is not unmistakable (he didn not explain his actions to get a zip instead of a .paf.exe so one could just guess his problem - what 3D1T0R did) I just tried to clarify it (or what 3D1T0R said). Ok, I just guessed, too.
Portabilitywise the zip is identical as the laucher just controls PAF specific issues (moving the TeamViewer.ini to the data folder for backup reasons).
But as that is not generally true with many other apps decribed as portable, the presumption that the zip may not be as portable as an official paf is at least understandable (and often not just FUD...)
That TeamViewer has the same standards for both versions is very creditable in that case but could not be taken for granted without testing.
I encounter nonportable portable versions more often than truely portable portable versions - but use some nontheless.

Formatting is easy enough (it's just HTML), finding the links took middle clicking once (to open the TeamViewer Portable homepage) opening a new tab (Ctrl+T) and typing teamviewer/download then pressing Ctrl+Enter, then dragging the links on those pages in between the quotes in my <a href=""> tags.
I knew where to go, and what the situation was (the TeamViewerPortable.zip file being from TeamViewer's official download page rather than TeamViewer Portable's homepage) because I had noticed it myself previously (if they package the PortableApps.com version, shouldn't they link to it from their download page? also the .zip doesn't include a launcher at all, and having not checked it myself, I don't know how portable it is.)
I get an error
If I click on the link on the TeamViewer Portable homepage, I get an error saying it cannot find the path to download the file.
As the version listed on the TeamViewer Portable homepage is 6.0.10344 and the latest versions on the TeamViewer Homepage are 6.0.10418, it seems that the developer has seen fit to produce a zip version, but has stopped supporting the paf.exe format.
Has anyone spoken with them to see what's going on with it?
P.S. I checked their archives of older versions, and I don't see a paf.exe anywhere, only .zips.

I have contact the publisher. They re-arranged their download directories but didn't give us a heads-up to update our links.
