your portable stargazing observatory
Stellarium Portable is a free open source planetarium for your computer that shows a realistic sky in 3D, just like what you see with the naked eye, binoculars or a telescope.
Stellarium Portable works best with the PortableApps.com Platform
Legacy Mode: Older PCs and PCs with lower-end graphics chipsets may need to set Stellarium to run in software rendering mode. This can be accomplished by copying the AppNamePortable.ini file from the StellariumPortable\Other\Source directory to the StellariumPortable directory, renaming it to StellariumPortable.ini and then editing the file so that the first line reads AdditionalParameters=--angle-mode and then saving.
