My CD drive dose not appear in my computer! When I go to device manager it says Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)

I tried the upper and lower filters thing with no luck!

Sry for this, but I can't find any /me -understandable information on the command-line switches for a backup-script I would like t use.

I want to backup everything in the directory "C:\directory" which has more sub-directories.
So I want to recursively backup everything into a .7z archive named with the date in its filename (like "2006-10-19-22-12h.7z"), and additionally backup only changed files into the archive "directory.7z".

It would be very nice if one of you could tell me how to do that!

I just messed up my sandisk cruzer pretty bad and i'm not sure how to fix it. I was attempting to "shred" the unused space on the flash drive using restoration (http://www.snapfiles.com/get/restoration.html). As this was happening I noticed programs I had running from the drive stopped working and files started to disappear. As soon as this happened I disconnected the drive in an attempt to save anything I could. What I think probably happened: Restoration was made to clean NTFS partitions, and the drive was FAT32. I would format the drive but if I try to open my computer to get to the menu the computer freezes (no matter which computer I try it on).

Is there and odt viewer? I need one for a small flash drive.

Launches in about a second. Seems to be compatible with most web sites. Has bookmarks you can take with. I guess it is Mozilla/Gecko based.

I noticed it mentioned a few times before in this forum, but more about whether it is portable or not.

I haven't been able to find out planned release dates on the Mozilla site. There's probably a page somewhere, but I can't find it. I'm just curious when they plan to release a final version of Fx 2.0. I know Sep. 19 was the prevoius date, but obviously it didn't work out.

I need someone good at GIMP to convert a logo back to an GIMP Source file.
It would be fairly easy (I could do it myself, if I wasn't busy) for that person. Also, if possible they could convert it to an SVG as well (might not be possible).

Just to say that I was planning on dropping support for most of the modules (e.g. Sync, Backup, Log and Wrap) as most of it has been amalgamated into PUSS. Any reasons that I shouldn't / other comments.
