I would like to write something to introduce a blog pet to people. Can any English native speaker help me to edit this article better?

=====Beginning=====
Mero, a little creature created by Meromero Park Company, is a famous blog pet from Japan. Many Japanese and Chinese are enthusiastic about it including myself, but I haven't seen any other countries' people play it. Therefore, I would like to introduce mero to all the people in Portableapps.com because I think it's fun, and you may like it.

In general, blog pets has three basic functions, linking blogs and forming a community, decorating blogs, and fun to play. Meromero Park does great in these three aspects. Its system, the way you play or have it, combines three elements tight. Meros grow to many kinds of color and shape so you will look for more different mero friends because they appear in your mero window, which you put on your blog for decoration. Meromero park also provide "seed system" and "my home system". You can pick up seeds by chance when you browser someone's mero window form his/her blog. Different seeds bloom different flowers in your mero window so you will be crazy for searching different seeds. The latest my home system gives your mero a home. Here you can manage your seeds, friends, and furniture, which you can get for your home randomly when you are visiting some mero's home. For these many features, plus many details I didn't mention, I think mero is the most fun blog pet in the world. I hope you will love it, too.

PowerPro

Hi, been using this app to control my USB drive and a whole lot more. I installed it then copied the app folder over and with some tweaks like manually removing the drive letters in shortcuts it all work well.
Extract from home page --
PowerPro lets you take control of how you use Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP. Run commands and configure your system any way you want.

PowerPro gives you a compact and powerful launch bar, menu, and tray icon facility. But this is just the start. With a little experimenting with its configuration, you'll find that you can use PowerPro to change the way you work with your system. The source of its power is the way PowerPro integrates three capabilities.........................

Community Project?

Just an idea.

Collectively I believe we could compile a list of all the Registry Keys that semi-portable apps leave behind.

I also believe we could compile a list of all the files throughout the computer these apps may leave as well.

This is something i think would be a great interest to alot of people, and i'm not just talking about the portable apps offered here, but a rather long list of apps.

In doing so we could create a bat file and an inf, (or better yet, a portable apps ourselves) that could do the cleanup work for us. Rather than sitting around waiting for all these program developers to get it done, why can't we?

Alcohol and USB Drives dont mix, period. Last night a friend and I went and had some drinks. We come to my place to crash so we wouldn't wake his parents. I, get on my computer, and plug in my USB Drive. He is, well, trashed, and says "Hey, what is that thing?" and PROCEEDS TO PULL IT OUT IN USE! The cable came out of both the drive and the computer! It's detachable, but all data was a total loss. I found 4 files that seemed good. I haven't backed up in 3 weeks. I just reorganized it two days ago. Sigh.

Remember kiddies, ALWAYS USE SAFE REMOVE!

I've got some work ahead of me, trying to get back what I can and look through backups and my home file server for things that may have been scattered.

Several weeks ago someone named Abecedarian posted that he has a method using PStart and TrueCrypt and that he would post details if anyone was interested.

So far now 4 people have expressed interest in his technique but he hasn't responded.

Since he may not have looked at the topic since, is there a way to send a message directly to the user?

Video Card Suggestions?

Submitted by Jacoby on June 7, 2006 - 1:33pm

Hello All. I'm looking to buy a new video card and was wondering if any of you had any suggestions. What I need is something midrange in price, with decent performance for the price. PCI-Express Bus, preferably 256mb vram or higher. I'm partial to ATI based cards, and was wondering if any of you had experience with the X700, X1300, or X1600 cards? If you know a good card from nvidia, don't be shy, as I go with what works best. Any of your experiences with midrange PCI-E cards would be helpful.

Thanks All!

EDIT: CLARIFICATION: By mid-range price I mean from $175-300.

I'm a great artist.
