Check out this laptop advert at Circuit City. Look in the price box... I don't know how long it'll last so check it out!
Finally, this is the deal i've been waiting years for! XD
Okay, so today, I was at Staples. (Office store for the some of you that are unaware). And, I saw a flash drive, it was a Verbatin U3 Smart Drive-1GB. So, I'm wondering if I shuld get this for the autorun mechanism. Except, I'm not sure how good the drive will be. I was hoping to get a Kingston U3 Smart Drive for the same purpose, but I can't find them around locally. Has anyone had any major problems with a Verbatin drive? I always buy there Recordable DVD's for rando purposes cause they're nice and cheap, and they work fine.
The drive can be read about hear...
Well which one is better in which categories?
I need one, I am developing a varaitation of the PortableApps Suite. It might be called PortableApps Suite iPod Edition or something so I need a link to an iPod icon, preferabbly it being of a black iPod (the white is ugly IMO)
I got CoLinux working with internet and X up; now I just need to install Firefox. Thing is, though, I forgot how to install a program in a generic tar.gz package. BTW, I don't have a file manager yet, so this will have to be done from the command line.
Oh, and I'm using Debian 3.0.
I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with this... I can boot DSL when in Windows when double clicking on the "dsl-pendrive" MS-DOS batch file that came with the dsl-3.2 embedded zip folder, but I do not understand how to set it up so that I can reboot in Linux... I am using a 1 gigabyte SanDisk Cruzer Micro with U3 and security enabled. If anyone could explain this to me in relatively simple terms it would be greatly appreciated!

Here is mine:
OS: Fedora Core or OpenSUSE OR Ubuntu
Window Manager: Beryl and Blackbox
Desktop Environments: Blackbox, and GNOME
Compatibility layer: CrossOver Linux and/or Wine + Wine-Doors (an addon to Wine that is ,I think a fork or a similarity to WineTools but better and less dangerous to Wine)
Hardware:
Can;t decide yet but it will have lots of expensive and lavish hardware.
Plus a floppy drive
It will be a Desktop computer with a PCI wireless card or a USB wireless device
I was wondering if anyone could give me a link to a/some good VPN client for my Palm T|X Handheld.
Thx in advanced.
Hi,
I just installed Vista yesterday. For some reason Vista cannot detect a network. I use a D-Link VWR Router and an RCA Modem. I have a Roadrunner connection. can anyone help me?
