I have a question to ask.
If i place the "Portable Application Suite" as an autorun in my USB Flash Drive, What will happen if i plug it in other operating system that doesn't support the "Portable Application Suite"(example: Mac os & linux).

And if i want to install "Portable Application Suite"that only works with windows & "OS X PortableApps" that only works on Mac os, together in the same USB Flash Drive as an autorun. can it be done? & how can i do it?

Thank you for your help.

I have a portable secure e-mail application for WinXP platforms.

This application is free for personal use and requires a simple registration.

It uses RSA 8192 bits and AES 256 bits encryption and all secure e-mails are automatically signed.

It supports all types of POP3 accounts and web-mail as well.

Thanks to this forum i've got a bit hooked on developing a website for use at the school where i teach. Using the portable NVU I've had an idea for helping kids to remember basic equipment - getting the cursor to change for different equipment each webpage. Quite a number are given in CursorMania.

SanDisk Cruzer Profile questions

Submitted by yuvmel on November 27, 2006 - 12:36pm

Hello everybody, this is my first post in this lovely site Smile

I have the SanDisk's biometric flash drive, the "Cruzer Profile" (1GB) which seems to work pretty well under admin user in both the Windows 2000 (SP4) and XP SP2 PCs that I have at home.

However, I have many questions - I've searched the entire net to no avail, and even found one unanswered post in here, so if anyone can answer even a few, I'll be grateful:

1. The biometric validator pops-up automatically from a "local drive" which is a 2nd partition to the mass storage drive letter - seemingly, it's just like the U3 method to support autorun (which exists for the Profile too). However, the Profile is not really a U3-class device, and its autorun partition is read-only. Does anyone knows a way to re-format this partition and edit its autorun file?

xpc.mfl?

What is xpc.mfl?

This file resides in my Data\Profile folder.

I have tried to search mozillazine for the answer and this site. Some forums within mozilla.org have referred to cache or something like that, but I still have not found a direct answer.

Three Cheers for John!

Just a short thanks - I use some of these applications everyday, and they make my life a lot easier! They turn my humble flash drive into something much more useful. Thanks for putting in the seemingly endless hours to get these apps where they are today. The newest release of the suite is excellent. The developers of these apps must have a lot of extra users, especially on Windows due to you. Many of these apps were used mainly by Linux people for a long time, till you opened them up and gave them new purpose.

Thanks a lot John!

Ok guys I need some developers and I know this may sound crazy but I need people that can work for free too. I started building my own Linux distribution that is based of Ubuntu Linux. Actually it is Ubuntu but modified basically adding multimedia codecs and stuff like that. But I need mostly some gfx designers, some shell scripters that can make a couple of custom scripts and possibly some people that can mirror my distribution. Email me please if your interested and my email is thibeaz [at] gmail dot com and if you want to check out the site my url is, sigh yes a subdomain (but provided by Ryan McCue Biggrin thanks man...
