(Wasn’t sure where this should go so...)

* Dumb question* is dune 2000 Abandonware?

I think it is so, but just to be sure I am asking. I have already done some googleing and looked around wiki and various sites but have came back with results that have left me even more confused. The reason why I ask such a dumb question is to make sure I am legally able to share this great game with others and possibly in due time as my knowledge of programming expands try to breath new life into it.

If I can get a straight forward answer, it would be great help to me.

Application virtualization software?

Submitted by Troberg on October 3, 2012 - 3:07am

I have a lot of software I've written for my own use over the years, mostly C and VB6. These are not portable (mostly due to ActiveX and COM), and I'm pretty darn sure no one else will rewrite those millions of lines of code for me...

So, I need some software to package them neatly using application virtualization.

I have access to ThinApp through work, so I can use that. The legal issues are nonexistent, as it's a legal license, and I will only package my own stuff.

Drive To be formated/Formated to exFAT. (please look at cluster size)

At my side, i have a 64 Gig. USB Thumb Drive. I have see that with exFAT format, the cluster is 128KB by default. Then at my side, for ~20Gig. of data with 128KB cluster, it take in real ~50Gig. of data space.

Before format a drive to exFAT, please verify cluster option.

so i've only just recently become aware of the awesomeness of portable applications out of wondering what i could do with all the flash drives i have laying around other than carrying around files so i went to youtube for "how to" and "make your own" videos and it seemed like every single video i watched started out with this sentence.. "ok, the fist thing you'll need to do is open up your browser and goto portableapps.com and then..." haha so i took the hint and now, here i am! i'm really glad i am to.
