Portable App Development

Hi,

I read all the documentation, installed nsis, created the directory structure, having an app that can run without installation, editted the "PortableApps.comInstallerConfig.nsh", did right mouse button on the nsi project file and it created the AppNamePortable.paf.exe file for me. That went all fine. After the install of AppNamePortable.paf.exe on the usb stick there's no launcher at all. How can i create the program launcher? The one that's need to be placed with the dir's Apps, Data, Other. Or do in need to create the launcher myself for ex. in C#.

I found Tux Racer on the Red Hat Linux I found in the basement and it was an awesome app.

So I did a wikipedia search and found this.

Well, those two apps have worked nicely with PortableApps, but for some reason... with my AkelPadPortable.exe Launcher, all it does is launch AkelPad, but doesn't actually open the file in AkelPad.exe

What's different from my launcher and everyone elses?

I am trying to make an ObjectDock Portable Launcher and I really need help with the ObjectDockPortable.nsi and the other stuff in the Source folder. I have no idea what to put where. This is what I have done.

What I have done so far...

This folder includes the Object Dock Portable folder, the HTML file of the registry changes taken by Regshot, the files found in %USERNAME%\AppData\Local and %USERNAME%\Documents.

Can someone say to me exact date when Linux is gonna be lunched.

Situation:
Basically, I use Portable Apps at school, home, and work from my USB flash drive. Occasionally, I will log off at one of those locations and FORGET my flash drive. I am afraid to put sensitive information on my drive such as e-mails, calender, etc... because I have already lost one flash drive this way.

Solution:
This guy on a blog wrote a little program that reminds you to remove your flash drive if you try to log off or shut down your computer without removing the flash drive/CD/whatever.

PeaZip 2.5 was released earlier today.
In this release context menu was reorganized, and was added the capability to save up to 16 applications or scripts to run on files (or items in archives) from "Open with..." submenu; PeaZip will try to configure most common editors, players and antivirus scanners (I know there will be room for a lot of improvements here to make it able to recognize a wider set of applications...).

I guess I'm just dense, but I've been to https://portableapps.com/development , https://portableapps.com/node/12851 , https://portableapps.com/node/14939 , copied the code for PortableApps.comInstaller.nsi and PortableApps.comInstallerConfig.nsh and seem to understand how to modify it.

Ok, now all I need to do is install a bunch of files in "AppNamePortable" and "App" directories. Should be the simplest script entries ever - Right?
