Comments
mismatch with DownloadURL and DownloadFilename
it's not a serious problem, but I thought it should be reported.
I'm one of those people that when give an online install goes and downloads the the installer file so I can do a off-line install if I want to.
looking at the installer.ini the DownloadURL and DownloadFilename point to two different files.
which means those that download the 'off-line' installer get SkypeSetup_6.2.0.106.msi and when SkypePortable_6.2.0.106_online.paf.exe is run it ignores the .msi file and starts to download SkypeSetupFull.exe
By Design
it's by design so i dont have to update the custom code for every release. you just need to rename it and it finds it.
ok :-)
Thanks for the quick reply.
I'll leave myself a note so I don't forget
What's new with this release?
I looked on Skypes website but could not find anything that told me what's new with this version. I also did a google search but also had no luck. So if anyone could tell me what's new or point me in the right direction that would be great!
