Comments
I get a warning
...when I run this new version of ClamWinPortable, that this is not the recommended version ?!?!
"ClamAV update process started at Sun Aug 17 00:28:56 2014
WARNING: Local version: 0.98.4.1 Recommended version: 0.98.4"
It updates the virus definitions as it should though. Can anybody explain what's happening here?
Publisher Bug
It's just a bug on the publisher's end. They produced and announced 98.4.1 for distribution but the update checked on their server still says 98.4 is the most recent.
The bug is still there
Everything is working fine, but it's rather awkward...
Didn't anybody tell them?
Standard
It happens whenever the Windows version (0.98.4.1) is different from the Linux version (0.98.4). You can safely ignore it. We have no control over it.
